We envision a multi-faceted organizational structure that includes multiple centers to meet the needs of our local community while cultivating a network of like-minded people far and wide.
Our aim is to maximize available local resources and direct external resources in ways that benefit the local community while offering value to others.
Urban Learning Center
We aspire to build a creative workshop & gathering space within Asheville City Limits that offers programming in the Intersectional Content Areas.
The ULC provides a Community Art Space, Local Resource Directory, and convenient location for Community Events hosted by practitioners and providers from the Asheville Community.
Rural Retreat Center
We envision around 100 acres of diverse ecological landscape located within an hour of Asheville City Center. The magical landscape has a combination of pristine wooded area, open pasture areas, gardening space, freshwater streams and ponds.
The Retreat Center is a community lodge constructed in harmony with its natural surroundings, providing multiple gathering spaces. Charming outbuildings provide simple yet comfortable lodging for program participants.
Intentional Living Community
We intend to create an intergenerational community living on-site, practicing resource sharing, harmonious relationship models, and collaborative leadership.
The community is made up of private living spaces and shared community spaces dedicated for individuals who support the day-to-day operation of the Retreat & Learning Center. Members of the ILC are primarily program facilitators and individuals directly involved in the operations of the Retreat and Urban centers.
